| John has twenty years experience working in both
the Public and Private Sectors working in areas such as retail,
consumer issues, information technology and health and safety.
Following a car accident in 1997 which lead to a serious back condition
John found Mr William Doolin and Amatsu after having tried many
conventional and alternative therapies. After experiencing Amatsu
and the effects it had on his injury John recognised the potential
of this unique and gentle therapy. After speaking to Mr Doolin about
Amatsu and its Grandmaster, Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, on many occasions
John decided to train as an Amatsu practitioner and qualified in
2005.
Since his initial training John has completed his Post Graduate
Shinden Jutsu with Mr Dennis Bartram , Principal Teacher and Researcher
of Amatsu. John was one of the first practitioners in Ireland and
England to begin the study of Kenku Jutsu with Mr Bartram . He is
currently training as a teacher of Amatsu with the Amatsu Training
School of Ireland, which he will complete at the end of 2008. John
is continuing his studies of Amatsu and other forms of Complimentary
Therapies.
John was and active Committee Member of the Amatsu Association
of Ireland from 2006 to 2008 and is a Registered Member of the Amatsu
