Introduction & Background
I was first introduced to Amatsu therapy over 10 years ago and was immediately drawn by the depth of a balance.
We have an inbuilt healing mechanism that prevent illness and injury consisting of many systems which need to work in balance to aid good health, these systems are collectively known as “The Godai “ (Chemical, Electrical, Environmental, Emotional and Structural). If one of the five elements of the Godai is out of balance our healing mechanism is compromised resulting in progressively deteriorating health. During your consultation appointment we will discuss any factors that could be influencing your overall health and advice will be given.
Amatsu can assist with pain relief and restores natural body alignment. Amatsu is so effective because we treat the whole body, the underlying cause, not just the symptoms! It is equally effective on chronic and acute injuries and can be used safely on babies and the elderly.
Combinations of techniques are applied according to the client's needs. These include massage, mobilisation, re-patterning and the stimulation of pressure points.
I qualified as an Amatsu practitioner in November 2008 at the Amatsu Training School in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire with Jane Langston. Since 2008 I have continued to develop and extended my skills with Dennis Bartram (Amatsu Principal Trainer), I attend at leas two of his courses each year.
