Introduction & Background I first heard about Amatsu therapy while training in a Bujinkan Dojo in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I was injured during one of these sessions and my Sensei at the time fixed me up almost instantly. While I was recovering from the shock of what had just happened, he explained to the class that this martial art had a healing aspect to it called Amatsu something or other...at least that is all I heard at the time. I became very curious and went looking for more information on Amatsu. After a long search I discovered it was being taught in the United Kingdom by Dennis Bartram and Jane Langston. I spent four days visiting Jane's school in Croxley Green in June 2006 during one of her second year Seitei classes. I decided to study Amatsu in part because I was very impressed with Jane's students. One of her second year students corrected a shoulder problem I had been suffering with for a couple of years in about 5 minutes!
As far as I know I am the only person practising first year Amatsu called Anma in Canada, or at least in Calgary. I am an insured member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada
I continue to train in the Bujinkan Dojo in Calgary, Alberta and the name of that school is the Bujinkan Tenchijin Dojo.
