| Jenny
first started her studies in Amatsu in Dublin in 2001. She completed
her Shinden Jitsu post graduate course in 2003 with Dennis Bartram
in Hartlepool, N.E. England. Along with Derek Plunkett, she set
up the Amatsu Training School of Ireland in February 2004. The ATSI
now run classes in The Yoga Room, The Healthy Way, Ralph Square,
Leixliip, Co. Kildare, Ireland.
Jenny’s background as a qualified Primary School Teacher
has provided her with a firm foundation in teaching. After completing
a refresher course in Training and Continuing Education with the
National University of Ireland, Maynooth in 2004 she was recognised
by the Amatsu Association Ireland, the Amatsu Therapy Association
and the Institute of Complementary Medicine as a Trainer of Amatsu
and as an external examiner for Amatsu in Ireland and the UK.
Jenny has also taught with Dennis Bartram of Amatsu UK Ltd, in
Hartlepool, where she attends regular sessions of Continuing Professional
Development (CPD), and has taught with Jane Langston of Amatsu Training
School UK.
Jenny has studied different forms and levels of Tai Jutsu in the
forms of Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Budo. She started her study
into Muscle Testing and Kinesiology by doing a basic course in 1988.
She then completed a Touch for Health Course in 2001 and went on
to do a more advanced Kinesiology course in Quantum Cellular Healing.
She has also completed courses in Chinese Cupping and Moxibustion.
Jenny stood as Chairperson of the Amatsu Association of Ireland
between 2004-2007. She is also an active member of the UK/Ireland
Teachers Committee.
