| After completing my training in Health and Exercise
Studies, I started my professional life working in the fitness industry
for a varying array of clubs in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia,
in varying positions from Fitness Instructor and Teacher Trainer
to Club Manager.
I then decided to broaden my horizons and moved into the Pharmaceutical
Industry and subsequently Orthopaedics, specialising in joint replacements,
as this more suited my fascination with the human body.
In 2000, whilst waiting to start a degree in Osteopathy, I met
Stephen Bates, who treated me for various back and neck injuries.
I was so impressed I signed up for his training course. Amatsu suited
me so well I decided not to start the Osteopathy course.
After completing my first two years training with Stephen Bates
and Jane Langston I completed my third year Shinden Jutsu training
with Dennis Bartram, whilst setting up my Amatsu practice.
Now after completing two years as a teaching assistant with Jane
Langston and passing my teaching exams, I’m in a position
to set up this training course.
I now run a busy practice in St Albans as well as teaching the
odd fitness class. |
