£100*
Students:
£50
Non-practicing:
£50
* Only £50 for those overseas members who are already a member of the AAI or the ATI
To check which level of membership is right for you please review the relevant information here
As a student, your teacher will liaise with the ATA Membership Officer and ensure that you are registered as student member. The school will also cover the student membership fee for the two years of study.
Lapsed Members:
As an Amatsu practitioner, if you’re not currently a member then you will have been a member of the ATA at some point in the past; therefore your ATA membership would have lapsed. Membership becomes lapsed if you fail to keep the ATA up to date with the requested documentation and certification; that being: your public liability/professional indemnity insurance; 4 days of CPD per year; First Aid and Membership fee payment.
As a lapsed member, your details cannot be promoted on the ATA website, you are not allowed to have access to the members area of this website; you are not entitled to use the ATA logo or mention the ATA in any way on your brochures, websites or other promotional literature; the ATA consent form and corporate brochure must also not be used; you may attend Amatsu training courses but not above the level of your qualification prior to lapsing, attendance is not guaranteed as preference is given to ATA members, and additional fees may apply.
To re-apply for ATA membership, you will need to take the following steps:
Scan, or make a photocopy of, all your certificates (CPD or training courses covering the last three years; first aid; public liability/indemnity/malpractice insurance & membership certificate of the governing umbrella organisation (eg ICNM or CThA).
Methods of payment are detailed on the application form. Click here for Standing Order mandate.
Send all of the above to Carolyn Austin, the Membership Officer either by email or post (details are provided on the application form).
Contact Dennis Bartram, Principle Trainer by email (Carolyn Austin will be copied in automatically), to arrange an interview and/or assessment with Dennis. This is to assess Amatsu competence and knowledge and will be held in Hartlepool at a fee. It is compulsory before membership will be reinstated.
Once your membership has been reinstated you will be granted access to the member’s area of this website and sent a username and password.
For further details please read the lapsed users policy downloadable here.
